Oskar Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. John Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Hermansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Henrik Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Jerry Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teckomatorp BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerry Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arvid Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Arvidsson having to interfere. Henrik Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, John Fransson made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Hermansson. Teckomatorp BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 61 minutes, Kjell Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Kiev and the Teckomatorp BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjell Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Teckomatorp BK's Sven Ljungberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. Lokomotiv Kiev's Richard Browall pulled a muscle in his back after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rune Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Teckomatorp BK got a freekick which was hit by Rune Sjögren. 68 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Lindberg came free, but Valter Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teckomatorp BK's Gilbert Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Teckomatorp BK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Magnusson got free with Gilbert Hermansson in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrik Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Magnusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gilbert Hermansson made a huge save.
