Sixten Beckman came out of the goal and Erling Molander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixten Beckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Nordlund in the 37th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rikard Nordlund made a kick off. Sixten Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Lannavaara's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Molander came free, but Sixten Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erling Molander ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niklas Låsberg during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sonics IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Nordlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Beckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Ekman hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Sonics IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
