Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Rikard Nordlund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Pål Beckström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonics IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varbergs Bois the free kick. The supporters of Varbergs Bois booed when Sonics IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Beckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Söderman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Nordlund in the 7th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Sonics IF's Edwin Lundgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robin Söderman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sonics IF reached it. Erling Molander was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Sonics IF's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Robin Söderman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Molander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erling Molander hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Rikard Nordlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Willig to strike the kick off in the second half. Folke Wallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 54 played minutes Sonics IF got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Blom. When Varbergs Bois's Albert Willig in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonics IF's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Varbergs Bois's Aron Mellberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Sonics IF's Erling Molander got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Willig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varbergs Bois's Albert Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Sonics IF got a freekick which was hit by Pål Beckström. In the 88th minute, Albert Willig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Wallengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Folke Wallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Willig in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Willig in the 96th minute of play forced Sonics IF's goalkeeper Folke Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varbergs Bois walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
