If John Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Elias Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Richard Browall fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Kiev's protests and gave Richard Browall a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Fransson in the 18th minute of the match. Valter Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Jakobsson in the 23rd minute of play. Elliot Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Arvidsson having to interfere. Henrik Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Elias Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Liden! The goalkeeper, Elias Sjögren, was totally fooled by Lokomotiv Kiev's Johannes Österlund, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Elliot Jakobsson's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Kiev's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Fransson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sjögren saved Liden from getting behind.

The wind increased when John Fransson made the kick off in the second half. Henrik Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sjögren having to interfere. Valter Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Lind in the 59th minute. Liden's Tim Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Anton Vassenius put in a rough tackle. 64 minutes into the game, one of Lokomotiv Kiev:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Liden's Morgan Gunnarsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valter Arvidsson. When Tim Lind came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Liden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Lind couldn't finish the play. Richard Browall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elias Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Lind came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valter Arvidsson could save by the left post. Valter Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Henrik Magnusson charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Magnusson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tim Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liden's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Lind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lokomotiv Kiev's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elliot Jakobsson 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Valter Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Tim Lind sent off a good shot on target. The Liden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
