Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Oskar Alfors started the match with the kick off. Allan Siggesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Deckbergh in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vartofta RK's Erland Lang got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Marko Pihlgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Siggesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Allan Siggesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Deckbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Isak Bergren's late challenge caught a DANTORPE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Bergren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vartofta RK's Isak Bergren got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Vartofta RK's Karl-Oskar Alfors in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DANTORPE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Karl-Oskar Alfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Victor Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vartofta RK and the DANTORPE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Alfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Richard Ivarsson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Vartofta RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Ivarsson couldn't finish the play. Tord Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Alfors, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to Vartofta RK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Victor Bergström hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Deckbergh to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Vartofta RK's Richard Ivarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tord Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Alfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Oskar Alfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tord Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isak Wiman fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DANTORPE's protests and gave Isak Wiman a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the match, DANTORPE's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Rang came free, but Tord Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Uno Kilberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Siggesson skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Isak Wiman from a close distance when the talented Allan Siggesson managed to make a qualified save. Vartofta RK's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Karl-Oskar Alfors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vartofta RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Alfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karl-Oskar Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes, DANTORPE's Uno Kilberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Allan Siggesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DANTORPE reached it. 76 minutes into the game, Hans Tingberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vartofta RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DANTORPE the free kick. After 76 played minutes Vartofta RK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Tingberg. In the 77th minute of the match Marko Pihlgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Siggesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Isak Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Allan Siggesson made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Vartofta RK's goalkeeper Allan Siggesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Wiman. After 88 minutes of play, Vartofta RK's Karl-Oskar Alfors made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greger Rang in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arvid Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Siggesson having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vartofta RK fully deserved thier win.
