When Gustaf Stenqvist came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Jonstorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Stenqvist couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Jonstorp got a freekick which was hit by Olof Berg. Bo-Erik Rosendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Termander having to interfere. Jonstorp's Fredrik Termander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Melander in the 23rd minute of play. Karl-Åke Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Jonstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Rosendahl came free, but Fredrik Termander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Kaj Trulsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Trulsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kaj Trulsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Gustaf Melander made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Termander. Jonstorp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kaj Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jonstorp's Roland Mattsson got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gustaf Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustaf Melander in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fredrik Termander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Norrköping walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
