Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Erik Fransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Matfors's zone, Zebastian Utter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Bergqvist came out of the goal and Zebastian Utter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Erik Fransson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 7 played minutes, Lidhult FK's Thomas Lindgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Bergqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lidhult FK reached it. Zebastian Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Valrot during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, Matfors's Allan Lundström made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutger Ugla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rutger Ugla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Karl-Erik Fransson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Bergqvist. Matfors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Zebastian Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Bergqvist having to interfere. Tommy Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Lidhult FK's Zebastian Utter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tommy Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Utter in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Arvidsson to make the kick off. Håkan Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Ugla having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Lidhult FK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Valrot. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lidhult FK! Karl-Erik Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tommy Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Fransson in the 65th minute of play. If Allan Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matfors's goalkeeper Tommy Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Timmy Rudqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matfors and the Lidhult FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matfors's Timmy Rudqvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Matfors's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Fransson came free, but Tommy Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Matfors's Tommy Bergqvist got control of the ball when Zebastian Utter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Erik Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tommy Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Arvid Stor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zebastian Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Erik Fransson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Bergqvist. That made the score 2-4 in the 96 minute of play. When the match was over Lidhult FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matfors throughout the match.
