Spectators: 7279 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Glommen's Folke Giliusson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Glommen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Giliusson to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Fc Eriksberg's Karl-Erik Möller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Erik Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Michael Hagström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jörn Boström kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Folke Giliusson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Karl-Ove Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Folke Giliusson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute, Ingemar Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Vase's late challenge caught a Glommen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Vase helped the player get up and apologised. Herbert Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Folke Giliusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hagström having to interfere. Fc Eriksberg's Michael Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Giliusson in the 42nd minute of play. Glommen's Folke Giliusson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After a defensive mix-up in Glommen's zone, Karl-Erik Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Erik Lindgren came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Per-Erik Lindgren throw himself and got hold of the ball when Karl-Erik Möller in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Glommen's Per-Erik Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Glommen from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes Glommen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jörn Boström who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jörn Boström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glommen's Per-Erik Lindgren did a great save. Ove Engström's late challenge caught a Fc Eriksberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Engström helped the player get up and apologised. Fc Eriksberg's Jörn Boström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per-Erik Lindgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Michael Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Giliusson in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Viktor Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Eriksberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Vollander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Glommen booed when Fc Eriksberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Möller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörn Boström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Erik Lindgren. Glommen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 81 played minutes Fc Eriksberg got a freekick which was hit by Michel Westerstrand. When Folke Giliusson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Glommen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Giliusson couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Karl-Ove Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Glommen's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Möller came free, but Per-Erik Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Glommen's Folke Giliusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Hagström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Per-Erik Lindgren came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Eriksberg's Viktor Vollander. But to his dismay, Viktor Vollander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Herbert Vase hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Rudqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Hagström. Fc Eriksberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Ove Rudqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
