If Sigvard Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jämshög getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mats Tillman hit a great ball. Kent Engström hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sigvard Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Sörman having to interfere. Sigvard Forssell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Sörman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jämshög's Björn Linqvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kasper Sörman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Biörkman in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristoffer Jelm during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kasper Sörman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Biörkman in the 37th minute of the match. If Sigvard Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Filiph Runeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Forssell struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kasper Sörman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungby FF. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Runberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Elliott Biörkman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Mats Tillman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes, Filiph Runeberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jämshög and the Ljungby FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Kasper Sörman, was totally fooled by Ljungby FF's Bertil Eliasson, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Sigvard Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Runberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tingelholm having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Elliott Biörkman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Björn Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Elliott Biörkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kasper Sörman made a huge save. After 89 minutes of play, Jämshög's Mats Tillman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rikard Tingelholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Ljungby FF defense, Mats Tillman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikard Tingelholm. The Ljungby FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikard Tingelholm should have stopped the shot. Ljungby FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
