Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vilhelm Stål kicked off to start the match. Allan Bivall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Lindgren in the 3rd minute of play. David Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Linderöd IFK's Uno Larsfält got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vilhelm Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Thomas Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stensele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joel Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Rutger Hammarström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linderöd IFK and the Stensele players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Linderöd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Hammarström. David Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Vilhelm Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karl-Åke Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Kellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Stål in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Stensele booed when Linderöd IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Gregersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Allan Bivall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Stensele got a freekick which was hit by Elof Magnusson. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Åke Lindgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If David Gregersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, David Hurtig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linderöd IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stensele the free kick. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Linderöd IFK! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Stensele. Sixten Söderström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Kellbom. 1-0. Linderöd IFK's Joel Kellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Stål in the 60th minute of play. Allan Bivall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Lindgren in the 62nd minute of play. Allan Bivall made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when David Gregersson sent off a good shot on target. Vilhelm Stål received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joel Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stensele's Vilhelm Stål got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Stål hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Linderöd IFK's zone, Thomas Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Kellbom came out of the goal and Thomas Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Åke Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Allan Bivall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linderöd IFK. David Gregersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Bivall made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when David Gregersson sent off a good shot on target. David Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Bivall having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
