When Malte Lund fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sävar IK's protests and gave Malte Lund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Malte Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nils Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Vedholm hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sävar IK's Malte Lund got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Malte Lund off the ground. A collision led to Sävar IK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Malte Lund hit a great ball. William Lövgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, FC Warberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. In the 36thth minute of the game Anton Ahlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sävar IK's Alexander Alrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sävar IK's zone, Anton Ahlgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Alrot came out of the goal and Anton Ahlgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Warberg's Timmy Mårtensson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leif Vallin was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Ove Ahlstedt during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes FC Warberg got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Ahlstedt. 53 minutes into the match, Sävar IK's Oliver Wallin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nils-Åke Ros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Salkvist having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Nils-Åke Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävar IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Ros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Salkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 61 minutes, Nils-Åke Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävar IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Ros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Warberg getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. William Lövgren hit a great ball. Axel Nyman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Alrot. Sävar IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Isak Sandell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sävar IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Warberg the free kick. If Leif Vallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Nils-Åke Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävar IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Ros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Warberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 79th minute of the game, Leif Vallin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 79 minutes into the game, Ove Benett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sävar IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Warberg the free kick. A collision led to Sävar IK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ove Benett hit a great ball. Anton Ahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alexander Alrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sävar IK's Nils-Åke Ros got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Warberg's Nils Salkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Ros in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Anton Ahlgren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sävar IK's Alexander Alrot. Alexander Alrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sävar IK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
