Alvin Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvin Lindberg scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Samuelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvin Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kent Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kent Samuelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IF JTK. Kent Samuelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Råttjägarna's Börje Gernberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Harry Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Samuelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Joel Lundström put in a rough tackle. The referee gave IF JTK a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Billing, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Råttjägarna's Kent Samuelsson. 0-3. The supporters of Råttjägarna booed when IF JTK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Harry Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half IF JTK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Vacker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Alvin Lindberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Kent Samuelsson to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Råttjägarna's Dennis Wennerlund got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvin Lindberg in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Samuelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. IF JTK's Alvin Lindberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alvin Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Samuelsson having to interfere. Harry Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kent Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded IF JTK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Råttjägarna.
