Simon Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Felin in the 12th minute of the match. Sakarias Wennerquist scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Nordin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Djurgården's Arvin Rydberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Norrfjärden IF's zone, Arvin Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Nordin came out of the goal and Arvin Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viggo Felin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Nordin saved Norrfjärden IF from getting behind. Arvin Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Simon Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvin Rydberg in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Nordin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dennis Örtendahl's late challenge caught a Djurgården's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Örtendahl helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Norrfjärden IF getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Dennis Örtendahl hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustav Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Sakarias Wennerquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djurgården and the Norrfjärden IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Norrfjärden IF booed when Djurgården was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rikard Skager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Zander having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Norrfjärden IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Snell to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Norrfjärden IF's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Felin came free, but Simon Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Gustav Olsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robin Zander, passed just outside the right post. In the 73rd match minute, Djurgården was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. When Alf Bohlin fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djurgården's protests and gave Alf Bohlin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Djurgården getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alf Bohlin hit a great ball. Gustav Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Djurgården got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Wennerquist. Robin Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rikard Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Olsson in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Norrfjärden IF's Rikard Skager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Zander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Djurgården's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
