The tension between the Real Madrid C.F. and the Brunflo FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brunflo FK booed when Real Madrid C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Real Madrid C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Widberg came free, but Anders Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, one of Brunflo FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erling Vestberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 12 minutes of play Real Madrid C.F.'s Dick Hylander was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 13th minute, Dick Hylander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes in the game, Vilhelm Billock dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Real Madrid C.F.'s Börje Emander got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenneth Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Springfält having to interfere. Vilhelm Billock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Billock took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Springfält. Anders Springfält dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Real Madrid C.F.'s Anders Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Widberg in the 39th minute of play. Robin Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Larsfelt having to interfere. George Larsfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Emander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Valdemar Haglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brunflo FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid C.F. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brunflo FK's Valdemar Haglund got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vilhelm Billock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Nilsson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Larsfelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Billock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Nils-Emil Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brunflo FK's goalkeeper George Larsfelt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brunflo FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
