The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Reine Åkerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Åkerman in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Hedkvist saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. Leo Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reine Åkerman in the 14th minute of the match. If Simon Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arlöv's Simon Nyqvist in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arsenal FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Bredberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reine Åkerman in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Hedkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reine Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Svensson succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. If Reine Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Vester made a kick off. Reine Åkerman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Leo Hedkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arsenal FC's Leo Hedkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Nyqvist in the 55th minute of play. Reine Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlöv's Simon Nyqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Nyqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Markus Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Svensson in the 80th minute of the match. Simon Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Bredberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Arlöv's Simon Nyqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Nyqvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 93 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Åkerman. In the 96th minute Arlöv were awarded a corner. Tony Tham went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tony Tham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal FC's Leo Hedkvist did a great save. Arlöv's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Arsenal FC had won, even though Arlöv had held more of the ball.
