Pål Wallin's late challenge caught a Unbeaten 49's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Wallin helped the player get up and apologised. Pål Wallin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Unbeaten 49's Robert Erserman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Tinglöf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, AIK 1891's Mattias Rosendahl made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gert Nordkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mattias Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Bocklund got free with Gert Nordkvist in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Unbeaten 49's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mattias Rosendahl fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pål Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pål Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, AIK 1891 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Eric Runberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Broberg charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Broberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes AIK 1891 got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Broberg. Ludwig Bjurström didn't quite understand what happened when in the 23 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 24th minute, Pål Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gert Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Wallin in the 29th minute of play. AIK 1891's Mattias Rosendahl suffered a sore foot after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 31 played minutes Unbeaten 49 got a freekick which was hit by Robert Erserman. In the 39th minute, Håkan Landin made a precise shot to the right of Gert Nordkvist. Unbeaten 49's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ulf Bocklund struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gert Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK 1891. Gert Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Bocklund in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Unbeaten 49's goalkeeper Gert Nordkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Landin. AIK 1891's Pål Wallin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unbeaten 49. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pål Wallin made a kick off. AIK 1891's Ingvar Tinglöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AIK 1891 from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Söderlund in the 54th minute of the match. Ulf Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulf Bocklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Pål Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK 1891's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gert Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Bocklund in the 61st minute of play. Ulf Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pål Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Nordkvist having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Per Ståhlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When AIK 1891's Ulf Bocklund in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unbeaten 49's goalie prevented a goal. If Pål Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AIK 1891 made a substitution. Andreas Lang replaced Adrian Lindström. 78 minutes into the match, AIK 1891's Ulf Bocklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Nordkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Ulf Bocklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gert Nordkvist. Unbeaten 49's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Bocklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Håkan Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Håkan Landin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gert Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK 1891. In the 93rd minute, Andreas Lang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK 1891 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
