In the 18th minute Kalle Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Brovall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Bro IFK got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Brovall. 35 minutes into the match, Karl-Johan Öman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tallåsen's Henry Östlund. Henry Östlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Brovall, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Tallåsen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bro IFK were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Kalle Söderström made the kick off in the second half. Urban Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Kalle Söderström scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urban Lundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gunnar Brovall came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bro IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Brovall couldn't finish the play. Tallåsen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bro IFK for a fine match.
