Lillpitt IFK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Håkan Bolander 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 7 played minutes NÜRNBERG 47 FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Stålman. With a little luck, Lillpitt IFK's Sivert Kling got control of the ball when Jesper Frykberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Thomas Stålman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sivert Kling skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Roland Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sivert Kling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Bolander in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Nyberg in the 34th minute of play forced NÜRNBERG 47 FC's goalkeeper Sören Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algot Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Martinsson having to interfere. Ronny Wallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sören Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Roland Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Lillpitt IFK's Roland Nyberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Martinsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roland Nyberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sivert Kling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesper Frykberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Roland Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lillpitt IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, NÜRNBERG 47 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Åström to maneuver through the defense. Roland Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sören Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lillpitt IFK. The supporters of NÜRNBERG 47 FC booed when Lillpitt IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
