Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilhelm Hjortsberg kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Mellbystrand SK's Birger Lindström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertil Dahlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Birger Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lukas Browald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellbystrand SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Browald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Dahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Philip Malmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Länghem FK and the Mellbystrand SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Länghem FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Malmgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th play minute Egon Åkesson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mårten Giliusson. 1-1. Bertil Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Länghem FK got a freekick which was hit by Gert Bolin. Egon Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Giliusson having to interfere. With a little luck, Mellbystrand SK's Mårten Giliusson got control of the ball when Egon Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mellbystrand SK's zone, Egon Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mårten Giliusson came out of the goal and Egon Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Browald to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Egon Åkesson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mellbystrand SK's Mårten Giliusson. Mårten Giliusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Egon Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mårten Giliusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Yngve Apelquist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Wilhelm Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Giliusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Länghem FK got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Johnsson. In the 63rd minute Henry Abrahamsson managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Länghem FK's zone, Lukas Browald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Dahlberg came out of the goal and Lukas Browald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wilhelm Hjortsberg fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Länghem FK's protests and gave Wilhelm Hjortsberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Länghem FK's Wilhelm Hjortsberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. Wilhelm Hjortsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Giliusson having to interfere. Wilhelm Hjortsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mårten Giliusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Hjortsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mårten Giliusson. Mellbystrand SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Hjortsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mellbystrand SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Länghem FK.
