Vilhelm Jespersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Erik Snäll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Frinnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Lidman to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. William Kellbom scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddie Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frinnaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Vennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 92 minutes on the clock, Reine Strömqvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
