The referee showed Stefan Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Björn Hagberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 18 minutes into the match, Pantarholmen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Kämpe came free, but Isaac Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elliott Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Pantarholmen BK got a freekick which was hit by Linus Nordström. 26 minutes into the match, Christopher Kämpe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Fagrell. After a defensive mix-up in Ödåkra IFK's zone, Elliott Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Lundin came out of the goal and Elliott Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Linus Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pantarholmen BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linus Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Linus Nordström ran back to his position shaking his head. Egil Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Ulf Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Back was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 57 in the game by Thomas Back from a close distance when the talented Egil Lundin managed to make a qualified save. Ödåkra IFK's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Elliott Eliasson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Egil Lundin to make any attempt to save it. After 75 played minutes, Pantarholmen BK's Sven-Åke Åberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egil Lundin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pantarholmen BK reached it. Thomas Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Eliasson in the 80th minute of play. Linus Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Back struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Egil Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pantarholmen BK.
