Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Gällivare's Johan Åberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Gällivare's Jon Hydén got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes, Kenny Hägert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Köpmannebro and the Gällivare players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gällivare booed when Köpmannebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Hägert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Gällivare's Stig Jonasson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 8th match minute, Köpmannebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Wassenius to maneuver through the defense. When Gällivare's Johan Åberg in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Köpmannebro's Ingvar Skoog got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörgen Pilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörgen Pilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Gällivare's Karl-Erik Askelöf suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 31 played minutes Köpmannebro got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bäcklin. Esbjörn Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jörgen Pilberg came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Köpmannebro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Pilberg couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Skoog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Nordström having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esbjörn Karlsson during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
Jörgen Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jörgen Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Skoog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Stig Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gällivare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Gällivare's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Skoog came free, but Jörgen Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Stenquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Henning Stenquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esbjörn Karlsson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Gällivare's Esbjörn Karlsson in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köpmannebro's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Karlsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Köpmannebro's goalkeeper Henning Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Stenquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson in the 83rd minute of play. Jon Hydén kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Johan Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Nordström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fredrik Fredriksson. Jörgen Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jörgen Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Skoog in the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
