Alfred Kiempe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Reine Falk made a huge save. Osvald Hermansson charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvald Hermansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Osvald Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Ibrahimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Falk having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Stig Pedersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Kiempe might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reine Falk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Kiempe ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Reine Falk managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Bråbo IK's Alfred Kiempe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Osvald Hermansson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bråbo IK's Kenny Snäll. Kenny Snäll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stig Pedersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Bråbo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Österberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Viken BK's Reine Falk got control of the ball when Alfred Kiempe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reine Falk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Ibrahimović in the 42nd minute of the match. John Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kenny Snäll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viken BK. With a little luck, Viken BK's Reine Falk got control of the ball when Alfred Kiempe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Pedersson made a kick off. Reine Falk came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bråbo IK's Alfred Kiempe. But to his dismay, Alfred Kiempe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Viken BK's Reine Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Ibrahimović in the 57th minute of play. Alfred Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Reine Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Kiempe might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reine Falk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Kiempe ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Osvald Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viken BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvald Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Snäll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Viken BK booed when Bråbo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Viken BK got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Kielberg. After having played for 72 minutes, Ralf Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bråbo IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Ibrahimović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Reine Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Tunander's late challenge caught a Bråbo IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Tunander helped the player get up and apologised. Reine Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Kiempe, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Viken BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
