The supporters of Bor BK booed when Habesh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Alströmmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bor BK's Christopher Norberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Habesh FC. When Per Eckegren fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bor BK's protests and gave Per Eckegren a yellow card for diving instead. Per Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Alex Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Habesh FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tommy Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The Bor BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredric Abrahamsson should have stopped the shot. Helge Kilman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Överman in the 35th minute of the match. Christopher Norberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bor BK's zone, Folke Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Folke Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Kilman having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Malte Överman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Överman in the 53rd minute of play forced Habesh FC's goalkeeper Helge Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Vilgot Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fredric Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Bor BK got a freekick which was hit by Frans Lindström. Helge Kilman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bor BK's Malte Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
