The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvar Vennerström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alvar Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Harry Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf Björk ran back to his position shaking his head. Andréas Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Vennerström having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Big Tigers FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Harman to maneuver through the defense. Harry Ekrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Josef Säf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Örtlund to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Björk in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Björk in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Vennerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andréas Uggla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ralf Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Big Tigers FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvar Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Säf having to interfere. Liverpool FC's Alvar Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Uggla in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Andréas Uggla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute Andréas Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andréas Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Rickard Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Säf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Big Tigers FF's Josef Säf got control of the ball when Rickard Nordin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Big Tigers FF's goalkeeper Josef Säf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Nordin. In the 92nd minute, Ralf Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Rickard Nordin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big Tigers FF the free kick. Big Tigers FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Liverpool FC for a fine match.
