Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Cane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eskilstuna Elite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Backalagens GOIF the free kick. The supporters of Backalagens GOIF booed when Eskilstuna Elite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Michael Walmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Linberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Backalagens GOIF's Karl-Michael Walmarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Hellqvist in the 19th minute of play. Eskilstuna Elite's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristoffer Högberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Michael Walmarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes of play, Backalagens GOIF's Niclas Holm made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Tidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yngve Mossberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Niclas Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
