Olov Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Fernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Niklas Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Lindell in the 30th minute of play. Ås's Niklas Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Bergren in the 31st minute of play. Olov Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. John Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ås. Olov Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Fernström having to interfere. The referee ignored Ås's protests and gave Kenneth Ålberg a yellow card for diving instead. If Olov Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Danielsson in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Fernström saved LIVAIS from getting behind. The LIVAIS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ås were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
