After having played for 41 minutes, Markus Björnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sisu Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Björnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Birger Pettersson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ingvar Winström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skorped FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Winström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Stenman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Kjell-Arne Fransson sped through Skorped FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Kråk. In the 91stth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Fransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skorped FF's Ralf Kråk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sisu Hawks's zone, Ingvar Winström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Stenman came out of the goal and Ingvar Winström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sisu Hawks's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
