Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kent Lundin started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Vetlanda getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dick Rudkvist hit a great ball. Christian Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Telin having to interfere. Trosa's Richard Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Stor in the 11th minute of play. If Helge Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Vetlanda's Folke Lind in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trosa's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vetlanda's zone, Johnny Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Algren came out of the goal and Johnny Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Folke Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Telin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Helge Stor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trosa's Richard Telin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Folke Lind took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Telin. Richard Telin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Stor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Ljungberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th play minute Folke Lind came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Richard Telin. 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Folke Lind left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vetlanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Richard Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Stor in the 67th minute of play. Richard Telin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Stor's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Trosa's Richard Telin got control of the ball when Folke Lind tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trosa's Andréas Rosendahl got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Billy Axelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Telin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Valdemar Hård fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trosa's protests and gave Valdemar Hård a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Valdemar Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Folke Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 93 in the game by Folke Lind from a close distance when the talented Richard Telin managed to make a qualified save. Trosa's players were relieved. 95 minutes into the match, Trosa's goalkeeper Richard Telin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Lind. The Trosa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vetlanda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
