When Tage Hjälm came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Stensholm HK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Hjälm couldn't finish the play. Marko Granqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Urban Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Hjälm was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Stensholm HK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Bratt to maneuver through the defense. Claes Askestät stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Billström's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Furuskog Atletiska Förbun's Matthias Billström got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matthias Billström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play Stensholm HK's Mikael Norström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mikael Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Claes Askestät showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Bolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Bror Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Askestät saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Bolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Stensholm HK got a freekick which was hit by Tage Hjälm. Stensholm HK's Claes Askestät played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Bolin in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias Billström in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Askestät saved Stensholm HK from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Marko Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stensholm HK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Granqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urban Stålman made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Marko Granqvist sent off a good shot on target. The Stensholm HK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
