Spectators: 7378 (Terracing: 5535, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lars Påk took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Kolsuparna BK's Lars Påk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kurt Nyström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Nyström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Magnus Persson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hisingens Blattar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Persson couldn't finish the play. Harald Löfkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Möllgren having to interfere. Kennet Möllgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Löfkvist in the 19th minute of play. When Lars Påk came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kolsuparna BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Påk couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Gösta Berggren suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ivar Pilberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivar Pilberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kolsuparna BK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ivar Pilberg hit a great ball. Kurt Nyström got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hisingens Blattar booed when Kolsuparna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Hisingens Blattar's Niklas Öberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennet Möllgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eddie Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Niklas Öberg made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kolsuparna BK's Kennet Möllgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Eddie Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingens Blattar's zone, Eddie Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Månsson came out of the goal and Eddie Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Niklas Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Kolsuparna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Öberg came free, but Kennet Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kennet Möllgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddie Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kolsuparna BK's Lars Påk got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Niklas Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Kennet Möllgren. Kolsuparna BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hisingens Blattar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kolsuparna BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
