After some careless play in the Hägersten defense, Leo Söderqwist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Söder. The Hägersten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Söder should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, Virestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Kent Brandt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Felin in the 23rd minute of play forced Hägersten's goalkeeper Pontus Söder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Nicklas Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Casper Österlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hägersten's Orvar Rang got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Virestad defense, Kent Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Österlund. The Virestad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Österlund should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Valter Utter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hägersten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virestad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hägersten's Valter Utter got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Vilhelm Felin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Virestad booed when Hägersten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Orvar Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Casper Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Virestad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hägersten were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Kent Brandt made the kick off in the second half. Orvar Rang struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Casper Österlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hägersten. In the 52nd match minute, Virestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Björklund to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Virestad's Casper Österlund got control of the ball when Kent Brandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Hägersten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Nordström to maneuver through the defense. If Vilhelm Felin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Söderqwist in the 66th minute of the match. Tor Vikström hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Peter Andreasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pontus Söder skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute Vilhelm Felin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Rang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Hägersten's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Felin came free, but Pontus Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kent Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Österlund was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Virestad's Tomas Björklund got a free kick in the 91st minute. Håkan Ek, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hägersten's Håkan Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
