Torsten Kolberg's late challenge caught a Klövsjö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Kolberg helped the player get up and apologised. Eric Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 minutes, Carl Örtendahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svanskog FF and the Klövsjö BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Svanskog FF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Örtendahl. Per Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Per Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Ove Thedin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Klövsjö BK's Karl-Ove Thedin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per Mattsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harald Löfskog took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per Mattsson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Svanskog FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
