Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börje Söderström started the match with the kick off. Edmund Ödman struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Per-Arne Vennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Öjebyn. In the 18th minute, Börje Söderström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hjalmar Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Isaac Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Öjebyn's Jan-Ove Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmund Ödman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Arne Vennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Björklund in the 25th minute of the match. Hjalmar Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isaac Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Hybbert in the 42nd minute of play forced Öjebyn's goalkeeper Isaac Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Björklund took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Arne Vennersten. Per-Arne Vennersten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Åled IK's zone, Jan-Ove Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Vennersten came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Arne Vennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Arvidsson in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan-Ove Arvidsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Per-Arne Vennersten. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Börje Söderström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, David Brolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Öjebyn and the Åled IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Isaac Siggesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Söderström in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åled IK's Åke Söderström got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jan-Ove Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Siggesson having to interfere. Isaac Siggesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Öjebyn were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Åled IK's much stronger midfield.
