The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roger Boman came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Åkersberga IFK's Emil Blixt. But to his dismay, Emil Blixt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hugo Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Boman having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Åkersberga IFK's Emil Blixt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Boman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Krantz's goalkeeper Roger Boman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hugo Säfström came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Åkersberga IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Säfström couldn't finish the play. Roger Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Säfström in the 27th minute of play. Åkersberga IFK's Gunnar Örtendahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Åkersberga IFK from getting a goal against them. Sigvard Ek hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. FC Krantz's Roger Boman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Säfström in the 39th minute of play. Karl-Magnus Ahlfors charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Magnus Ahlfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, FC Krantz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugo Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Boman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Blixt's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. If Hugo Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Målare made a kick off. In the 54th minute Emil Blixt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Boman made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hugo Säfström sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Krantz's Emanuel Liljeström got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Emanuel Liljeström fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Krantz's protests and gave Emanuel Liljeström a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes FC Krantz got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Liljeström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Blixt in the 80th minute of play forced FC Krantz's goalkeeper Roger Boman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Krantz booed when Åkersberga IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 84 in the game by Emil Blixt from a close distance when the talented Roger Boman managed to make a qualified save. FC Krantz's players were relieved. FC Krantz's Karl-Magnus Ahlfors got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Karl-Magnus Ahlfors off the ground. A collision led to FC Krantz getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Ahlfors hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Emil Blixt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkersberga IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Blixt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Boman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Örtendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Gerdberg in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Emil Blixt took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Roger Boman to make any attempt to save it. Åkersberga IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
