In the 4th minute Douglas Giliusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Stenstorp IFK booed when Åkarp FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Giliusson in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Eriksson during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Eriksson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Nordstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Giliusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Åkarp FF's Oliver Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Nordstedt in the 20th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Douglas Giliusson in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 27 played minutes Stenstorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Kilström. In the 28th minute, Fred Siggman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stenstorp IFK's Stig Hake didn't even have to move. Oliver Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Nordstedt in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Stenstorp IFK's Douglas Giliusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Mattsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Nordstedt in the 35th minute of play forced Åkarp FF's goalkeeper Oliver Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Hagberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Douglas Giliusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stenstorp IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Giliusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Giliusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Douglas Giliusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Giliusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Pål Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Giliusson made a kick off. The supporters of Åkarp FF booed when Stenstorp IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Giliusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Oliver Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stenstorp IFK. Stenstorp IFK's Kjell Valström suffered a sore foot after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Stenstorp IFK booed when Åkarp FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Helander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd play minute Karl-Oskar Nordstedt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oliver Mattsson. 0-3. After 77 played minutes Stenstorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Giliusson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Giliusson in the 87th minute of play forced Åkarp FF's goalkeeper Oliver Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Nordstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Oliver Mattsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Åkarp FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stenstorp IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
