Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonsered BK's attack was well implemented in the 4th minute, but when Måns Myr was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience was convinced that Simon Zachrisson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Widberg was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Östen Ekman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmudden AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonsered BK the free kick. Östen Ekman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jonsered BK's Simon Zachrisson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Jonsered BK booed when Malmudden AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Inge Vacker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ola Hamnberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Måns Myr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arne Widberg made a huge save. Måns Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Simon Zachrisson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jonsered BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Zachrisson couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Malmudden AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Zachrisson came free, but Arne Widberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Malmudden AIK got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Lindqvist. Arne Widberg was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Simon Zachrisson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simon Zachrisson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Zachrisson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Jonsered BK got a freekick which was hit by August Blanck. In the 60th minute, Börje Pettersson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Malmudden AIK's Arne Widberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Myr in the 63rd minute of play. Inge Vacker walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Måns Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonsered BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Myr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Widberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Måns Myr in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Widberg saved Malmudden AIK from getting behind. When Claes Hultstrand fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jonsered BK's protests and gave Claes Hultstrand a yellow card for diving instead. Malmudden AIK's Börje Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jonsered BK's August Blanck got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ola Hamnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Pettersson in the 91st minute. Hannes Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ola Hamnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hampus Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Hannes Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hampus Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
