Kovland's Adrian Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Bergkvist in the 21st minute of play. The Osby fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Osby's Sivert Hedin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, Kovland's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bergkvist came free, but Adrian Hallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Hallgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patric Bergkvist's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Sivert Hedin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Hallgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Hedin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Sivert Hedin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Hallgren was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Kjell-Arne Eriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 51 played minutes Kovland got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Dahlquist. After a defensive mix-up in Kovland's zone, Sivert Hedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Hallgren came out of the goal and Sivert Hedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell-Arne Eriksson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Sivert Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sivert Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Hallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivert Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
