After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gabriel Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangskog's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Hallgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kovland's Adrian Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Fransson in the 11th minute of play. Gustav Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Hallgren having to interfere. Gustav Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adrian Hallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kovland's Adrian Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Fransson in the 17th minute of play. Adrian Hallgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Hallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Hallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Hybbert in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kovland's goalkeeper Adrian Hallgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Kjell-Arne Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredric Winström came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kovland's Urban Bergström. But to his dismay, Urban Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Bergström was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gustav Hybbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kovland's zone, Gustav Hybbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Hallgren came out of the goal and Gustav Hybbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustav Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adrian Hallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, one of Kovland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Mangskog's zone, Kjell-Arne Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Winström came out of the goal and Kjell-Arne Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urban Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Winström having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Kjell-Arne Eriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kovland and the Mangskog players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kovland getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Eriksson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kovland's zone, Gabriel Fransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Hallgren came out of the goal and Gabriel Fransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Almqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Kovland's goalkeeper Adrian Hallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
