Kurt Landin might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Stenman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Landin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Charlie Andersson fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Pelister's protests and gave Charlie Andersson a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes FK Pelister got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Andersson. Frans Lundberg, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thomas Stenman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Landin in the 21st minute of play. After 21 played minutes FK Pelister got a freekick which was hit by John Blomberg. A hard shot 23 in the game by Herman Vennerkvist from a close distance when the talented Thomas Stenman managed to make a qualified save. FK Pelister's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match, FK Pelister's goalkeeper Thomas Stenman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Vennerkvist. In the 27th minute De Finska Lejonen were awarded a corner. Frans Lundberg went to the cornerflag to take it. 30 minutes into the match, FK Pelister's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Vennerkvist came free, but Thomas Stenman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frans Lundberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 37th minute Walter Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Stål saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Stenman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Landin in the 39th minute of play. If Kurt Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Vennerkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Yngve Malmström made the kick off in the second half. If Kurt Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Finska Lejonen's Adrian Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save De Finska Lejonen from getting a goal against them. After 62 played minutes De Finska Lejonen got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Sandberg. Thomas Stenman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Finska Lejonen's Adrian Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save De Finska Lejonen from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Björnberg during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FK Pelister succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though De Finska Lejonen had controlled the match.
