Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Ahlfors took the kick off in the first half of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Kopparberg MK's Frank Ahlfors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Tillman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tom Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legit Morons's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Almstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Olof Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Olof Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Ekberg in the 18th minute of the match. Karl Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Legit Morons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Kopparberg MK got a freekick which was hit by Karl Mårtensson. The audience was convinced that Bengt Ekberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Holmberg was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Frank Ahlfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andreas Tillman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Kopparberg MK's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Söderström came free, but Per-Olof Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Kalfhage during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Legit Morons fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Legit Morons's Bo Söderström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Ahlerot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Andreas Tillman made a huge save. If Bengt Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Bo Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legit Morons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt Ekberg to make the kick off. Bo Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Per-Olof Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Legit Morons! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Kopparberg MK. Nils-Erik Ahlquist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andreas Tillman. 1-2. Joel Ahlerot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Kopparberg MK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. If Bengt Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kopparberg MK's goalkeeper Per-Olof Holmberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Bengt Ekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kopparberg MK's Frank Ahlfors got a free kick in the 86th minute. Bo Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Holmberg having to interfere. The Legit Morons supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Legit Morons would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
