Pål Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jim Högberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valter Tham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Ekblom in the 9th minute. If Fabian Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Hällingsjö IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sivert Ekblom fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sivert Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Tham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Runberg in the 20th minute of play forced Hällingsjö IK's goalkeeper Valter Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, IS Halmia's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Grep came free, but Jim Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Högberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Grep in the 28th minute of play. IS Halmia's Sivert Ekblom got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in IS Halmia's zone, Ingemar Grep stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Högberg came out of the goal and Ingemar Grep tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Runberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, IS Halmia's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Grep came free, but Jim Högberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Grep in the 57th minute of play forced IS Halmia's goalkeeper Jim Högberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, IS Halmia's goalkeeper Jim Högberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Axelsson. Adrian Brodin's late challenge caught a Hällingsjö IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hällingsjö IK reached it. Jim Högberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Pål Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Runberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valter Tham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Fabian Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Hällingsjö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Runberg came free, but Valter Tham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Ekblom might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valter Tham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Ekblom ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
