Valdemar Svensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rasmus Ekström made a huge save. Ernst Askberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Stålman having to interfere. Sydkoster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst Askberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 42nd match minute, Månstad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Ekrot to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Ingvar Ekrot fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of George Stålman. Sydkoster's George Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Ekrot in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rutger Eriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sydkoster's George Stålman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sydkoster from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Ekrot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Stålman was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Sydkoster's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Ekrot came free, but George Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Stålman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ernst Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Tomas Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Askberg in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Stålman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernst Askberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. George Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
