Bo Hök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Wästerberg in the 14th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Hök having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Bonässund IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Ekeroth to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morgan Wästerberg in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo Hök saved Bonässund IK from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Wästerberg to make the kick off. If Jens-Åke Nykvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Brummer charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Brummer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rickard Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Frykberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bonässund IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morgan Wästerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonässund IK's goalkeeper Bo Hök, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Bonässund IK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Ekeroth. Jens-Åke Nykvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Morgan Wästerberg came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rusksele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Wästerberg couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Edvin Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Björkqvist, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. There was no doubt that Rusksele were the better team. Rusksele's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
