Spectators: 6818 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Billy Forss started the match with the kick off. In the 5th of the match, Billy Forss tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Melker Lönn got in the way and made a wonderful save. 6 minutes into the game, Hampus Rydberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edane FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tobo IFK the free kick. The supporters of Tobo IFK booed when Edane FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Sjögren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melker Lönn having to make a save. 10 minutes into the game, Gabriel Löfskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tobo IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edane FK the free kick. After 10 played minutes Tobo IFK got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Löfskog. 11 minutes into the game, Edane FK's Michael Fagerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Knut Magnusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Tobo IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Fagerberg came free, but Knut Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melker Lönn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Sjögren in the 20th minute. If Billy Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hampus Rydberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Edane FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hampus Rydberg couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Michael Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Forss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Fredrik Sjögren made a precise shot to the right of Melker Lönn. Edane FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Fagerberg made a kick off. Billy Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Melker Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Fagerberg struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Knut Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edane FK. Melker Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Forss in the 64th minute of play. Tobo IFK's Knut Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Tobo IFK from getting a goal against them. If Billy Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Börge Nordlund put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Tobo IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edane FK:s goal. In the 73rd minute, the referee gave Edane FK a penalty. Anders Sandström looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Knut Magnusson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Fagerberg in the 84th minute of play forced Tobo IFK's goalkeeper Knut Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edane FK's Hampus Rydberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Hampus Rydberg off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Edane FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hampus Rydberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fredrik Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobo IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melker Lönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Edane FK's zone, Fredrik Sjögren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melker Lönn came out of the goal and Fredrik Sjögren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, Edane FK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Sjögren came free, but Melker Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Edane FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
