Jens-Ola Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Rydberg in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Hörby got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Giöck. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hörby's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Bergfelt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Kaj Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saxdalen FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaj Rydberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes of play, Saxdalen FK's Arne Viklund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ola Bergfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Viklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Bergfelt made a huge save. Jens-Ola Bergfelt was a little too slow when Kaj Rydberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Malcolm Östman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hörby's Jens-Ola Bergfelt got control of the ball when Arne Viklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malcolm Östman was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Ola Bergfelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Rydberg went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Arne Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Hörby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Kleen to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ola Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Viklund in the 68th minute of the match. Kaj Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Kaj Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hörby's Jens-Ola Bergfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Rydberg in the 78th minute of play. Kaj Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jens-Ola Bergfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Henry Berg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hörby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saxdalen FK the free kick. In the 85th minute, Henry Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Åke Hagström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jens-Ola Bergfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Arne Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Bergfelt having to interfere. Jens-Ola Bergfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Rydberg in the 94th minute of play. Hörby's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
