Spectators: 7325 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 125) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiph Fernkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Robin Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Robin Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Persson got free with Jonny Sandwall in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boris Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Vallengren in the 9th minute of play. Johnny Hägglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Johnny Hägglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Smulan's Boris Harman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egon Svensson got free with Jonny Sandwall in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Boris Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Sven Hansson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Täfteå's Olle Telin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonny Sandwall made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Emanuel Persson sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Olle Telin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Täfteå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Smulan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Täfteå's Olle Telin got a free kick in the 35th minute. Johnny Hägglund scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boris Harman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olle Telin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Harman having to interfere. If Johnny Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Täfteå booed when FC Smulan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnny Hägglund to make the kick off. Boris Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Vallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Johnny Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Täfteå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Hägglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Fernkvist in the 60th minute of play. If Johnny Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Telin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Boris Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Torsten Sjöman from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Boris Harman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Täfteå's Petter Ahlin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Johnny Hägglund came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Täfteå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Hägglund couldn't finish the play. Robin Vallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Boris Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes FC Smulan got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Bremming. Täfteå's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
