The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Tomasson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Johan Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Bredberg in the 32nd minute of play. Kalvträsk BK's Erik Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Åkesson in the 39th minute of play. After 43 played minutes, Klimpfjäll's Pelle Gråberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Magnusson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Klimpfjäll reached it. Nils-Erik Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Karl-Johan Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Klimpfjäll were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nils-Erik Bredberg made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Erik Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Calle Pihlwall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalvträsk BK and the Klimpfjäll players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kalvträsk BK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Calle Pihlwall hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Bredberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Klimpfjäll's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 65th minute when Alexander Nordström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute Inge Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Åkesson's late challenge caught a Kalvträsk BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Åkesson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kalvträsk BK booed when Klimpfjäll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Kalvträsk BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Nordström came free, but Erik Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Inge Nordal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
