Björn Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 4 minutes, Joakim Bergfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unexpected FC and the Lugnvik IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Unexpected FC got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Bergfeldt. After a defensive mix-up in Unexpected FC's zone, Per Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Galle came out of the goal and Per Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Unexpected FC got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Bergfeldt. Lugnvik IF's Andreas Nordin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unexpected FC. After 18 played minutes Unexpected FC got a freekick which was hit by Per Hedkvist. Björn Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Olofsson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Galle saved Unexpected FC from getting behind. Andreas Nordin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A hard shot 32 in the game by Per Olofsson from a close distance when the talented Sven Galle managed to make a qualified save. Unexpected FC's players were relieved. During the 37th minute of the match Per Hedkvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Per Hedkvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sven Galle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andreas Nordin. Sven Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Olofsson in the 40th minute of play. Björn Rolandsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Galle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Rolandsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Åström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Lövgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Klementsson having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Lennart Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Per Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugnvik IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Ingemar Ekegren fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unexpected FC's protests and gave Ingemar Ekegren a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Unexpected FC! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Lugnvik IF. Andreas Nordin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven Galle. 2-1. Per Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sven Galle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugnvik IF. Sven Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sven Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Rolandsson in the 95th minute of the match.
