Alvin Melin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonardo Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Apelqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Ahlberg in the 21st minute of play. Harald Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alvin Melin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Nils-Emil Apelqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montrose United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Emil Apelqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Ivarsson during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Nils-Emil Apelqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montrose United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 84 minutes in the game, Leonardo Ekström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without William Apelqvist having to interfere. Mattias Ahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but William Apelqvist made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Leonardo Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björbo BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
